Book:- The Sunbeam Talbot 90 range- A Complete History and Register of Cars.
This book due to be published , has the approval and backing of the Sunbeam
Talbot Alpine Register and it aims to tell the complete history of the post war 90 range in text, photo`s, road tests and
many other interesting features. It is still currently under construction and with an estimated release under review
but hopefully later this year, further research and collaboration is taking place.
The book has been written and edited by Ken Sparkes and compiled by Richard Mizen,
Bill Hall and editor general Paul Walby. Advice on cost and where it can be purchased will be posted on this news page and
in the club magazine "Stardust".

Hillman Husky Series 2 1960. Bought to assist
with a Rootes Group related event in Europe but in the event it was not used it was stripped to check and make it reliable.
The engine has been dismantled and ultrasonically cleaned, honed and crank polished, cylinder head overhauled with larger
Series 2 Rapier valves, unleaded conversion, new rings, bearings gaskets etc for the engine, new clutch kit, new exhaust,
radiator core replaced, heater stripped and cleaned and re-painted, new brake parts to overhaul the system, both bumpers re-chromed,
new Sundym laminated screen fitted with new rubber, side windows have white acrylic panels in place of glass to make it into
a van but original glass with vehicle. Many new parts included and I had new outer sill panels made to replace the crudely
welded ones on the car but the body does need repair but is not the usual rusty mess. I do have some new panels but these
are available by seperate negotiation. £2500.00.
